From someone born In Greece, raised on Greek food, who has eaten out Greek in Astoria and all over this country, Thasos is the BEST. All 5 of us enjoyed every bite. We are going back next week.

I visited this restaurant with my family for Christmas Eve and the atmosphere/attention/food was amazing!

Based on our experience last night I find it impossible to give this restaurant anything but a PERFECT review. The manager George and the staff were so friendly and gracious .Everything we ordered was so light and flavorful. Just an amazing experience. Being a restaurant owner for 45 years I appreciate their passion and perfection. Great restaurant.

Ambiance was great my steak was a tad undercooked but overall an awesome restaurant.

Wow this is one of the best restaurants in South Florida! Our waiter was great and the food was wonderful. Restaurant was beautiful. If you like lamb go for it! Wow

Great ambient and delicious food

Before i came here i read the reviews and almost change my plans..... for couple of people complaint about it......Please don’t lose the opportunity to enjoy the great ambience, food and service of this place,,,, btw the bartender Lucas are awesome,,, he make our night 5 stars.....

Despite the fact that our waitress nearly abandoned us after our main course dishes were removed, we had an outstanding experience at this spectacular restaurant. Great live Greek music. Highly recommend.

Thasos is my favorite Greek restaurant in the area. I have never ordered or tried a meal I have not liked, and the setting is unbeatable. I get decor envy just stepping inside. They have a nice wine selection that goes well with their menu. I really love their lamb options, but their seafood is also delicious.

I have eaten here many times and have been to special events here. Thasos is beyond amazing. Food is teriffic and the staff is wonderfully attentive. The owners are very philanthropic and are constantly giving back to the community. Food is very authentic. Love it!

Clean restaurant, looks nice; service is poor. Priced very high, especially since the taste is very bland.

If you enjoy delicious food served by 5 star staff, in a gorgeous environment, then I suggest heading to Thasos. I was floored away by the decor and service. I ordered the Greek salad and Lamb Chops. The salad came out within 3 minutes and had the freshest tomatoes and cucumbers dressed in a tasty olive oil vinaigrette, topped with juicy kalamata olives. The lamb chops came out just as I finished the salad. They were my favorite lamb chops I've ever tasted, crispy on the outside, and medium rare in the center. The medallion potatoes and green beans finished it off with a great meal! Don't pass this place up! I recommend it!

One of the most memorable desserts I’ve ever experienced. This was truly a carefully choreographed flavor experience between the richest of each fruit and chocolate with careful attention to texture, color and balance of the food on the plate. Brilliantly done and truly refreshing to receive the art presented. Thank You.

Great atmosphere, attentive service and tasty food; the lunch portions were very small.

I love the ambiance. The zucchini chips are to die for. Their scallops are amazing. I’ve been getting the octopus the last couple of times and hands down best I’ve tried. Their takeout is as good as when you sit down at the restaurant. Highly recommend it!!

Amazing! I have been eating greek food all my life but this was special. Never had octopus this tender and tasty. Zucchini fried to perfection. Dolmades seasoned just right. Beet salad - yum. We relished every bite- appetizer to dessert. And made reservations for next week before we left.

Overall a very enjoyable experience and very good food - would have loved to give it 5* but a couple of things prevent me from doing so - the rather surly "non-welcome" from the young lady at front of house & the non-seasoned calamari starter - but the magnificent main courses (awesome sea bass & snapper) and delightful dessert (huge - excellent recommendation to share from the waiter) plus the wonderful lively atmosphere and great live music made it a truly enjoyable experience - all I can say is we look forward to visiting again when hopefully the couple of issues mentioned will be resolved.

Food is really good but the experience is ruined by the really loud live music. Avoid weekends if you want a nice intimate dinner. We couldn't hear each other speak. And it's the same music over and over again. I like traditional Greek music but not when it's way too loud and there is no variety.

Great location and decor. Food forgettable and uninspired alas. Go to Greek Islands across A1A for really great Greek dining.

Very disappointed. We eat here often, today we decided to eat at home and since we live 2 minutes away from the restaurant we looked at the menu on their website and called to order for pick-up. When my husband arrived he saw they charged him $11 more than what was on the menu. We ordered 2 of their most expensive steaks and they still charged us more. When my husband told them those are the prices on their website they asked to see it and when we showed them those are the prices on THEIR website, the OWNER had the audacity to say their website is not up to date and refused to refund us the extra charge or compensate us in any way. If that wasn't enough our order was missing items and my steak was very under-cooked. VERY VERY Disappointed. This is not the way a restaurant, especially the owner, should treat their clients.

First-timer...our party of 4 were all delighted with our dishes. All super fresh and delicious ~ we highly recommend and will definitely return!!

This place is a must visit. It took me back to my visit to Santorini Greece. The service is excellent and the food is like being back in Greece. The appetizers are delicious I love the sampler dish which is a sample of all the cold appetizer.

One of my favorites restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. The food is amazing and I love the atmosphere, the vibe and decor.The staff is happy by the tables at the bar and also in the kitchen. HERE You will have a fantastic middle east gourmet experience.The place have greek live music some nights

I was invited to Thasos by one of my close friends. I pass by this place and never knew it was a restaurant because the sign only say Thasos. the decor in the restaurant is everything. I ordered the Holland Dutch style mussels, wild Holland Dover Sole. both delicious and well prepared. My friends order the American red snapper, black Angus flatiron steak both delicious. Thasos we will be back soon.

The BEST BEST BEST meal I have had in Florida. Every single thing we had was delicious. George was so personable and a delightful host. The lamb chops were the best I have ever had and the home made stuffed grapes leaves and yogurt were out of this world. Thank you for giving me such a memorable meal!!!

Very delicious and stylish place to have wonderful Greek food. I had the stuffed peppers and they were absolutely delicious and moist. I also had the hummus and eggplant dip which was so flavorful as well. I recommend the Santorini wine they have there. I really felt like I was back in Santorini and Corfu Greek isles..... Will be back again as soon as possible.

This dinner was a special birthday celebration and Thasos helped to make it special. We started with meze plates of saganaki, Calamari and tzatziki. The calamari was lightly breaded and so tender it just about melted in my mouth. My uncle had the Kleftiko and said it was the best lamb he has ever had in Fort Lauderdale. Another in our party had a special on the menu and said it was perfectly seasoned and the fish was fresh and flaky.The evening finished with a surprise birthday dessert. A wonderful end to a perfect evening

Whoa 😲... the second I opened the door to walk in, greeted promptly, smelled ah-mayzing!!! And I lobbied with host for a 4 top cause ya boy gotta have some table top real estate with all the food I order Lololol I got that whole fish for $60 bucks—— phenomenal—- I ordered 3 more and wolfed them down immediately. The capers and lemon juice atop where very fitting for the dish. And don’t get me started on their octopussy—- best I ever had, and have a seasoned palate! 🐙

Beautiful place but awful service, subpar food and WAY OVERPRICED

The worst experience ever, long wait for nothing.....We waited for 90 min, when we sat down we ordered 4 appetizers , the grilled octopus was ice cold and smelled bad, we literally asked for the check and left to eat pizza across the street. SAVE YOURSELF!!!

Really great restaurant, beautiful decor and good service. Food was not exceptional but I can't complain, our dishes were on point. It is a nice option for large family gatherings.

Outstanding experience! From the time we called to make a reservation to the time we left the restaurant. We spoke with Angela to reserve a table for Thanksgiving night. We had a special request that she could not answer herself and had to consult the restaurant owners. She promised to call us back in 15 min and she did; extremely polite and helpful lady. Reservation done. Pepe was our server. We asked for some suggestions and from the wine to the dessert he was right on point! Besides being super friendly and attentive. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend it and will be going back soon!

Horrible service, George the manager is very rude and unprofessional, he talked down to the very kind hostess. We walked out after not being waited on for 15 minutes because we had a young child with us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! They should be ashamed of themselves

Great Food. Nice Decor

The place is really cozy and warm. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service is perfect. Food is simply delicious. You must try the spicy hot feta, the octopus, the lamb and the halibut.

My nephew got married here & was my first time here. I wasnt impresses with their food, although I do believe their regular food is probably very good but for the wedding may not have been their best. I lived the atmosphere & entertainment. Nice place will go back again to check food out better.

Thasos is a Greek restaurant we walk in it is packed truly forgot it was Valentine's day weekend the hostess said they were booked but will see if there is a table available yessss! 😃 it was so the bar is right when you walk in the decor is all white with petrified wood all over white flowy fabric to divide spaces and a 3 piece band and yes they have valet parking and a small outdoor space same decor outside everybody was clapping it was so much fun! They have a small private room as well the kitchen is open so you can see the chef and his crew cooking I love the atmosphere of this place bright airy and fun Happy Valentine's day 💝🍷enjoy!
